Hello! My name is Shelby, and I am the Vice President of Logistics. This is the second year I have been involved in the EDGE case competition. I am looking forward to working with a lovely and motivated team, and the eager participants. Everyone should be prepared to be challenged, but most importantly, enjoy themselves.

I am currently in my third year, studying accounting. However, I am not just your regular accounting student! I am heavily involved in community work, international relationships, and also not-for-profit work. I had the opportunity to travel to over 16 countries, and most recently, I volunteered in rural Uganda for a women enterprise project. I truly believe that each individual has the opportunity for personal and professional growth by simply stepping out of their comfort zone. I believe that this case competition, my team, and myself, will deliver the participants with an amazing experience! I look forward to meeting everyone.

Hi everyone, I am happy to be returning to the EDGE executive team for a second year as your Events Director. I am in my fourth year at the University of Alberta Business School majoring in Natural Resources, Energy, and Environment. I have also completed the Oil and Gas Production Operator certification from NAIT to further develop my technical industry knowledge. Upon completion of my degree, I plan on pursuing Instrumentation Engineering and receiving an Instrumentation Technician Journeyman Certification. This past summer I had the privilege of working at Kinder Morgan, my position focused on operations management and facility maintenance. My involvement at Kinder Morgan fueled my drive to pursue a career within the upstream sector of unconventional thermo in-situ production as either a project manager or field consultant.

When I am not working or busy with school projects I enjoy escaping the city life and returning back to my family farm where I can enjoy all my favorite outdoor hobbies such as fishing, dirt biking, snowboarding, and snowmobiling just to name a few.
